Patricia Stites' favorite childhood treat was Peanut Butter Crunch that could only be found at the Alps Candy Store, a small family-run business on the Tumwater River in Leavenworth, WA. As she grew up, married, and lived and traveled the world, her trips home to enjoy that rare childhood treat became fewer and fewer. So, in 2006, she went into the kitchen, grabbed a candy cookbook and a computer, consulted with some candy-making friends, and began the experimentation that ultimately resulted in Chocolate Drizzled Peanut Butter Crunch. It's soft and crunchy and has that incredible peanut butter flavor like the candy Patricia remembers from her childhood but she has added chocolate drizzle and a few other little secrets of her own that make it unique and Simply Irresistible!
